Best Recipe of 2011

2011 was a great year. It was the year that I discovered my kitchen and love for creating something new. I am really, really proud of all the recipes I've come up with on my own and I have tons of ideas brewing for new healthy recipes in 2012. Don't worry, I promise I'll be in the sharing mode as soon as I can clean all the shortbreads out of my freezer and make room for healthy soups, stews and other goodies :-)

But for today, I wanted to share something fabulous from last year.

My most popular recipe in 2011 was a Roasted Sweet Potato Salad. I'm not going to lie - it's pretty awesome.

It's comfort food gone healthy for all of us trying to get back on track after all of our holiday indulgences.

So, while you're waiting for all the new fabulousness about to hit the pages of Vegvacious, try out this salad and let me know what you think.

What's your favourite new recipe? If you have a link, add it to your comment so I can check it out!

  3. Looks YUM! Can't go wrong with sweet potatoes, that's for sure. My favorite new recipe is lentil flatbread--I'm obsessed with the stuff! I'd link it, but then I'd feel guilty linking to my own recipe, haha.
